I want buyers to find me

What to check when buyers need to understand who you are, what you sell, and how to contact you.

If buyers cannot understand who you are, where to find you, or what you sell, the problem is usually not just one small detail. In most cases you need to tidy up the company profile, add a few clear products or services, and then check how everything looks on the public page.

Quick check

  1. The profile has a name, description, phone number, or another contact.
  2. The address, work location, or service area is clear.
  3. There are at least a few products or services with photos, a price, or terms.
  4. The public page opens and does not look empty.

What affects visibility

Buyers trust a page more when the real offer is clear right away. Before thinking about promotion, check the basics:

  • the company name is written the way customers recognise it;
  • the description quickly explains why you are useful;
  • products or services use ordinary words a buyer would search for;
  • important items have a photo, price, or clear terms;
  • contacts, address, and contact options are easy to find;
  • the information does not look copied from another site and does not contradict what you actually sell.

This does not guarantee search-engine ranking, but it helps buyers understand the page and reduces the chance that they leave confused.

What to do first

  1. Fill in profile and contacts so buyers can see your company name, contact options, address, and guidance on how to find you.
  2. Add at least a few of your clearest items in products and services. For a first impression, clarity matters more than quantity.
  3. Check site settings if the page looks unfinished or important sections are missing.
  4. Make sure you are ready to answer questions and enquiries in orders and requests.

How to check the result

After each save, open the public company page and look at it like a new buyer. In the first few seconds it should be clear:

  • who you are;
  • what exactly you offer;
  • where you work or what area you serve;
  • how buyers can contact you.

If the phone is shown behind a button, the contact form opens separately, or the contact block looks a little different from the cabinet, that is normal. What matters is that the path to contact is easy to notice and understand.

How to promote the page carefully

When the basic page looks ready, you can show it to customers: add the link to your signature, send it to regular buyers, or share it in the social channel or messenger where people already know you. Do this where the page can genuinely help someone.

Avoid placing the same links and text across random sites. That approach becomes outdated quickly, looks suspicious, and rarely helps buyers make a decision.

If buyers still struggle to find you

  • shorten company text that is too general;
  • move your most recognisable products or services higher;
  • add a photo, price, or clear terms where product cards look empty;
  • if you have many items, switch to import and export after you have manually prepared a few strong examples first.

Clarity matters more than quantity for the first result. Start with your most recognisable items.
