Import and Export
Import updates the catalog from a file, and export builds a catalog file for download.
In the company products area, you can open import and export for file-based catalog work.
Import helps bring a catalog in from a file and update existing products, while export builds a catalog file for download.
Before any large import, start with a small test file, especially when columns, image format, or group structure have changed. If an import or export option is not visible, check the available formats before preparing a large file.

When this section is most useful
- you need to update many catalog items at once;
- you already have a spreadsheet, XML file, or CSV from another system;
- you need to download a catalog file for review, exchange, or follow-up processing.
When not to start with import
If your catalog is still small or you are not sure about the group structure yet, prepare a few cards manually in products and services first. That makes it easier to see which titles, groups, descriptions, prices, and images buyers need. After that, the import file is easier to prepare and review.
Supported file families
Usually you will work with spreadsheet-style files, XML, or CSV. If the format or button you need is not visible, use the available option or contact support before preparing a large file.
What to check in the file before upload
- product and service names are clear without company-only abbreviations;
- group and category names are written consistently in all rows;
- prices, availability, and purchase terms are filled where they matter;
- descriptions and images are prepared, and image links are reachable;
- the file does not contain test rows, duplicates, or outdated items;
- you understand what should happen to items that are no longer present in the file.
Basic flow
- Prepare the file with products and groups.
- Open import and upload the file.
- Review errors, warnings, and the update result.
- If needed, open export and download the catalog file.
On the import page, look for the file picker and submit action. On the export page, choose a format such as Excel, YML, or CSV, wait until preparation is complete, and download the file from the list.
If the import check shows warnings, do not start a large update automatically. First review the rows that need attention and make sure new groups, prices, and products missing from the file will be handled correctly.

Before a large upload
- review group and category names;
- make sure photos and descriptions are ready;
- start with a small test package when the format changed;
- plan ahead for how to fix wrong changes quickly.
After import or export
After import, open a few important cards and check title, group, price, image, description, publication, and availability. Then open the public company site or catalog and make sure buyers see the updates as expected.
After export, wait for the file to appear in the list and download it. If the file is going to another system, open it before sending and check a few rows: names, groups, prices, and text encoding.

What matters
- available import and export options can differ; if the needed format is not visible, contact support before preparing a large file;
- export may take a little time, and the file appears in the list after it finishes;
- if the result is not what you expected, check the file and try the upload or export again.
